I finally started the friend's husband tested, friend highly approved 50 Shades of Grey last night. Ummmm....ahhhhhh.....duhhhhhh......ummmmmm.....
He is one seriously fucked up individual!!!! I won't leave any spoilers here on the off chance you too are just now getting the opportunity to read it. But wow!!! Grip your bondage straps tightly! It's ummmm.....interesting. I'm not sure it will be the aphrodisiac everyone raves about but I'm trying. LOL
Guess I'm much too analytical for books such as these. I was hoping for an all out porn! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Well better get back to making my coffee. That "interesting" individual Mr. Grey kept me up until 0330. Gonna need it for this day!!

Never read it, but I did read an excerpt of it online. The part I read seemed like it was written by an 8th grader. Do tell us if it's worth the time :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's written really well. It's just....weird! The guy is completely sadomasochistic! It's just really strange. It keeps you hooked though. You keep wanting to know what happened to the guy to be the way he is. I like that kind of stuff. I'm going to try to read more tonight. Just getting kids to bed. This could take awhile....
DeleteJoy, it's getting better and better!! For me it was getting past all the creepy, crazy sex in the beginning. Now I skip through most of the sex parts. They easily could have condensed this who trilogy into one book had they left out the endless descriptions of the endless sex. My gawd! They have to be getting sore and tired at this point!!
